In a distance of only one kilometer far from Kalyves village, is located Kiani beach, on the west side, on the way to the city, Chania. The time that u will need to get to the beach from the center of the city, by car is approximately ten to fifteen minutes.

You will be amazed by the crystal clear waters and the fact that is a quiet place, friendly to families with or without children or young people who enjoy sports and fun on the sand.

Kiani beach is never really crowded, although you can enjoy one visit to the located tavern or to the kiosk nearby for coffee or some cold drinks.

Access to the beach, besides rented or not cars and motorbikes, is possible by the local buses and the schedule for this direction of the city is quite often.
