The Kolymbari located 22km from the city of Chania. It is well known for the Academy and the Gonia Monastery dating from 1662.It is a quiet village near the Aegean Sea, surrounded by the cliffs of the rocky mountains of Kissamos. A concrete path with pebbles, leads you on a tour of the traditional taverns and cafes. The beach has clear water, where you can play and do sunbath with magnificent views of the green cliffs.
