The beach of Stavros on the Akrotiri is 16km from the city centre. It is one of the most famous beaches because there was filmed the world’s famous film “Zorbas”. It consists of two main sandy beaches and a sheltered bay that never waves. There is also another beach 800m far from the main one, less known with stones and gravels.
